From 1990 to current some 11,370 students have competed in the SkillsUSA Louisiana Championships.

  • From 1990 to current some 4,819 state medallions have been awarded to the top three contestants in each skill area of the Louisiana SkillsUSA Championships.
  • Each year six Leadership Development Contests; five Health Occupations Contests; two Occupationally Related Contests; 35 Trade, Industrial and Technical Contests; four State only Trade, Industrial and Technical Contests are held at the Louisiana SkillsUSA Championships. Total Contests: 52.
  • From 1990 to current some 2,103 confirmed Business and Industry Judges have validated the Skills of the Louisiana SkillsUSA Championships competitors at the state level.
  • From 1990 to current some 8,080 participants have attended the Louisiana SkillsUSA Championships Awards Banquet and Awards Ceremonies
  • From 1990 to current some 1,846 students have competed in the SkillsUSA Championships
  • From 1993 to current 29 students have won GOLD medallions in the national SkillsUSA Championships
  • From 1993 to current 22 students have won SLIVER medallions in the national SkillsUSA Championships

  • From 1996 to current some 29 MASTER TEACHERS have been selected to assist at the SkillsUSA Championships skills floor
  • From 1996 to current some 5,850 students have complected the SkillsUSA Total Quality Curriculum (TQC) as a three hour course in the Technical College System
  • SkillsUSA's Award Winning Professional Development Program (PDP) is being implemented school wide, and taught as an employability skills tool in many of the member associations across the state.
